The Artist

  I have loved the ocean as far back as I can remember.  As a kid my family would snorkel the jetties of the Florida panhandle, shrimping in the bay, and deep sea fishing off the various wrecks in the Gulf.  I was fascinated with sharks and octopuses, and would draw them over and over.  As I grew older, I received my SCUABA license and have dove all over the Gulf of Mexico.   Being in the water was truly amazing and like being in a different world.  My art has gone many directions since I was kid (like 3D models and portraits) but I found myself coming back to what to the ocean.  I love showing people all the different the fish in the sea and the variety of colors.  My hope is that everyone can get a glimpse of what is under the waves.   

My main art focus right now is finishing up my Fins! Series.  The series will feature a wide variety of sea life that ranges from tiger sharks to sea horses! Each piece is hand painted with gouache and outlined with black ink.
